Laser Therapy: Increasing In Popularity as a Hair Loss Treatment

Now that Laser therapy has been approved by the FDA as an effective hair loss treatment it looks set to become the treatment of choice. It benefits from having no side effects and visible results after just a few weeks.

Today, Kyle is preaching the benefits of laser hair treatments. That's because he gave up his general practice and for about the past six months has run his own business, the Inner Beauty Medical Spa in Tulare.

What he uses for the treatments is the Revage670 laser machine, which he described as the best of the bunch among all the available lasers used to stimulate hair follicles to help them grow hair.

He said 85 percent of patients who use laser hair loss treatment see an increase in hair counts and growth. And there is a 90 percent success rate just to prevent hair loss.

"The patients I'm treating now are very self-conscious about their hair loss," Kyle said. "But, they are very happy with the results; they say their hair feels healthier and thicker and they can tell the treatments are doing something for them."
